Sr Test Engineer Location: Bangalore Experience: 5 to 7 Years Education: BE/ B.Tech / MCA/ M.Tech Job Details: The role requires the resource to be involved in the end-to-end activities of Software Quality Assurance / Testing. At a high-level, the resources should be able to � Participate in quality reviews on all software prior to delivery � Test application software, tracks test results and checks software configuration � Utilize processes and software that ensure the quality, reliability, and system safety � Utilize methods, procedures, and metrics needed to ensure that quality standards and practices are attained � Assist users in setting-up and executing user acceptance test cases � Document set-up and administers a library of requisite test cases for applications, and reports results to the development team Details of the critical work Functions and the associated Key Activities are listed below: Function: Design Application Key Activities � Assist in identifying system platform, components and dependencies � Participate in design review � Review and provide input for user documentation Function: Develop Quality Assurance Testing Methods Key Activities � Develop quality test plans and procedures � Develop sample test data � Document test results � Maintain testing histories � Perform software bug tracking � Recommend software quality improvements � Schedule and conduct software reviews and tests Function: Maintain Quality Assurance Standards Key Activities � Attend quality assurance recertification training as required � Certify software application as meeting quality standards � Facilitate quality assurance education across the organization � Maintain quality assurance software � Report to management on quality statistics � Research best practices in quality assurance technology � Upgrade quality assurance products and procedures as needed � Write new quality assurance procedures as required Function: Perform Analysis for Application Development Key Activity � Assist with selecting design tools Function: Test and Validate Applications Key Activities � Develop test plan � Document test results � Interpret test results and make recommendations � Perform tests � Support user acceptance test Tools: Manual Testing, SQL Note: This position is very urgent We prefer the resource who can join us early.
