Understand and adhere to the QA processes and procedures that is followed within the QA organization. * Ensure quality releases for software products that are delivered. * Lead multiple project assignments and drive them to closure. * Interface with development, support, product management on project deliveries to ensure a smooth release of the products. * Enhance test methodologies, test coverage for the products developed. * Guide, mentor and groom engineers on technical verticals. * Participate and deliver in QA forums that spans across enterprises. * Produce product technical artifacts, knowledge tech notes, whitepapers and disclosures. * Author test plans, test design specifications and test cases. * Create, update and maintain test cases in accordance with the test design specifications of product features. * Perform test execution on the project assignments. * Identify critical bugs in the product early in the test execution cycle. * Interface with the development and other QA groups on a need basis. * Re-create customer scenarios and work on resolution of escalations that arise from the field. * Work closely with customers as and when required. * Explore and contribute towards automation of the product test cases which help reduce man power. * Investigate defects and perform root cause analysis.
