To produce test specifications based test conditions, source documents (FSD, HLD, LLD) and coverage plans. To design Test Cases, Test Scripts, and Test Data that address identified Test Requirements, and collate them into an overall Test Design. To write detailed Test Scripts and execute them, recording results and collating test outputs and defects. To identify and resolve requirements which are duplicated, ambiguous, incomplete, contradictory, and incorrect or test not needed. To use automated testing tools where appropriate. Manage testing progression, ensure that Problem Reports and issues are resolved or escalated with the concerned people. Ensure the progress of the testing from a very detailed level and to escalate any issues which hampers Test progress to the Test Manager. To liaise with the external community and to ensure that the deliveries are made in time. Raising and following through of problem reports in accordance with the mechanism in use for the particular test phase Ensures fixes are received and installed, and that the agreed Configuration Process is followed. |
