BANGALORE: Projected as the next revenue generating stream for India, the software testing arena was estimated to require 18,000 hardcore professionals in the next year, an industry expert said on Saturday.
"Bangalore alone needs 8,000 to 10,000 skilled testers in the next year. It's in the range of 16,000 to 18,000 for India as a whole," the managing director of Quality Solutions for Information Technology, Arun Kumar Khannur, told reporters on the sidelines of an international conference.
