Motorola has been one of the quickest to release the latest Android updates for its smartphones. Thanks to running an almost stock Android version, Motorola smartphones have seen Android updates soon after Nexus smartphones. However, Motorola had delayed the roll out of Android 5.0 Lollipop owing to glitches in the operating system like battery drain, app crashes among others. Google fixed those bugs in Android 5.0.1. Now Motorola seems to be soak testing this version of Android Lollipop on its most affordable smartphone, the Moto E. First reported by stjsgadgets-portal, Motorola India is sending out soak test invites to Moto E users in the country. Soak test is a testing procedure which helps in determining how a device works after prolonged usage. Motorola earlier employed the same modus operandi by sending soak test invites to users for Moto G and Moto X in India. |
